I have that desk and use one of the side trays for my little sub. I keep my tower on the ground because it's a Cosmos and huge. It will comfortably fit the G11 and mouse, same setup I use. Pretty easy to assemble and overall a decent desk as far as I'm concerned.
The only complaint that I really have is that the keyboard tray could slide out a bit further but that's the only small gripe I really have.

I used that as a lightweight surface to put my wireless keyboard and mouse on when I was using my TV as a monitor. Not super sturdy, but you can't beat glass as a work surface.

You get what you pay for. If the keyboard tray is the selling point then get it.
I will spend as much as my budget will allow, so scene in buying crap.
