__________________Has anyone used that desk? I'm wondering since I've been out looking for a new desk, since my old one is horribly uncomfortable, and I can no longer want to move my keyboard to in front of my monitor just to get a little room to write... So back to the desk..Anyone used it before, and if you did can you give me a mini review of what you thought of it, like whether it's worth the money or it's complete garbage and you wanted your refund since day one. Thanks you in advance. PS Sorry if this sounds demanding for a first post.

Huh...Is it on carpet or wood? And is wobbly to the point it feels like falling or just a little?
__________________Huh there's safety lines? Never noticed it..Anyway thanks for you reply, guess I'll be wrapping it with something or just adding custom support with whatever is in the garage.

It should serve its purpose without problems. Staples sells fairly reliable merchandise, and this desk is made from a metal composite and glass. If you were buying particle board furniture from walmart on the other hand you might want to hold onto your receipt.

I have this desk, it's rock solid. Those are actually rods, not cables in the back, when you have them nice and tight, they keep it steady nicely. One problem I have with it is that it's a bit short for me. (I'm 6'2") If I lower my chair enough to use the keyboard tray, my knees are above my hips, lol. The distance from the floor to the bottom of the keyboard tray is ~25 inches. This would be a stupidly easy mod to raise it up some. You'd just need to get 6 bolts and something to make blocks out of. I get around it by using my keyboard on top of the desk. (I have another keyboard and mouse on the tray for my laptop. I use it for dual boxing in a game that I play, since I only need it to buff with every 30 minutes or so. The other problem I had with it was that the height of my old desktop was too high to stick it in the shelves. I ended up with it to the side on the floor. My new desktop easily fits on the middle shelf now. (Middle shelf height is 17inches, bottom is around 18.5)
