Default hi+I guess it's time for a new computer?

First, hello. Second, tell me if it's time to put (or at least most of) my computer to sleep. It's slowly slowing down, games aren't loading on and off, I get errors when I OC my GTX275 by even 1MHz, I can't play many games a 3.2GHz 2x+GTX275 should be able too, when I play many demanding games my BIOS (for whatever reason) fries, and I have to reset it every day. Yes I just re-installed windows a month ago, it continues to suck.

I think it's time for a near completely, 80%(keep HDD+gfxcrd that's only 4 months old), new system. Your thoughts? Or should I just *ahem* buy(YEAH RIGHT, BUY THATS FUNNY!) a new OS. O noes microsoft don't murder me!

Might aswell spec since I have no life...
AMD Athlon 64 x2 6400+
WD caviar blue 500GB 7200RPM(fast as hell on paper but for some reason like 100KB/s in practice)
EVGA GTX 275
Raidmax sagitta II
Antec EA650 PSU
MSI (idk but it has a 95W TDP and can somehow run my 125W CPU)
100% air cooling

Let me say this

First your 6400 is a dually and 3.2ghz with 1mb of L2 cashe. still Fine

WD Blue 500 doesn't run at 7200. Most of those run at 5800
The EVGA 275 is fine
antec 650 is great.
MSI is your problem. That is a High wattage cpu and You didn't specify how your cooling it.

BTW that 109.oo Callisto AM3 Dually at 3.2 ghz with that first board it will unlock the other two cores on that bad boy

Also I use XP Pro still.

i agree with enigma here. I think that upgrading your mobo will probably solve your problems. Either of those Gigabyte mobos would be a great upgrade and set you up for an inevitable cpu upgrade

It wasn't my fault. The person who bought it for me didn't let me specify anything. And the guys overcharged by at least $200..

Yea and the MSI was the Cheapest thing they could find. what's the number on the board btw.. if you can? tell us the Motherboard you have. Also when you get a chance fill out your system specs so we can help you more. Also Defragging and AVG 9 will help alot too.

Look on your board and tell us the number that is on the board close to the PCI slots.

let us forget the board it's something -FID and it's a mATX
I think it's a safe bet that this board was actually meant for a server, because it has a quadro, and isn't that what servers use?

In this post sure but once it gets to page two or you start another thread no one will know what you have. Please fill out your info like everyone else has...

How much do you want to spend on your upgrade? Your PSU GFX card and HDD are fine so you can keep those...
