WaterCooler

hey guys...
so i have run into an unused mini-fridge...and have begun thinking of the possibilites... now, when i look at the back, i see all the main components i need, and not much modding potentially... i see the fan, rad, and that tube (which holds the freon i guess) and some of the copper tubing - and then the black insulted tube/hose that goes and coools the fridge... now couldn't i just cut that hose, attach it to a block, and i am phase changing? of course, easier said than done, but anyone got a spare phase change block?

well i dunno about the whole phase changing deal, but i do know if you cut that hose then all the freon will come out and that is against the law. you will have to have the freon taken out by a specialist before you can do much with it. there would also be a lot of soldering to do, so practice on those skills. GOOD LUCK.

Hey I got an Idea, do not cut any tubing on your fridge, it is against the law because you’re not an HVAC Tech. lol but I am... Any ways what you can to your small fridge is put reserve water inside the fridge and make sure you have Anti freeze, put 2 holes, one on the side and one on the top of your fridge. Side hole is the supply side and the top is the return side run, tube your fridge to your computer and you should have a set up in your computer. You will need a good and strong pump to circulate all that water. Have your pump set up out side the like on the floor. And make sure your reserve water inside your fridge higher level than your pump so that water comes down to the pump by gravity and so that the pump circulate the water with easy, with out air bind. And heres a picture of what I'm talking about!

And to put refrigerent back inside you will first need to put it in a vacuum. Well anyways if you have any question about A/C stuff just holla at me.
