Default Someone try this!

Take a crap computer. Mold a Steel case for the inside to make all the parts waterproof. Like a heatsync that covers all parts w/ rubber edges and allos no water in. Fill the inside of ur case w/ water and see how much heat it disperses. Overclock the baby and pwn some noobs in CS:S on a special computer

EDIT - Case should cover all motherboard and parts inside, should have rubber on edges to stop water.

Regular water will destroy everything. You need to use Material Oil.

This is a BAD idea... With no flow in the water... there will be very little heat dispersion... at least not enough to cope with a rig.

Did you miss the part where water is electrically conductive? This would only work with oil.

I forgot to mention that oil and computers have been mixed before.

this is one of those ridicilous threads.
rubber? rubber isn't much good at transferring the heat from the components to the water, it acts like an insulator.

if you want to do something like this, get your case and make it water proof, then fill it with canola oil, and stick a pump with a radiator with fans to circutlate the oil, it will work much better.

but then again, this is all really,,, not normal..

3) If you're running x64 OS and have more than 3GB ram installed but windows is only reporting around 3GB, Go into your bios and enable Memory remapping.

Hope it doesn't get to warm. Oil is a natural case hardener. It will increase carbon concentration in the surface of metals and very small components will become brittle and surely fail with heating and cooling cycles. it'll neve rust though.
