Default My Mesh Ventilation Plan

hi all, as most/some of us know, ive been interested in making a case/case modification by using a well vented mesh (similar/the same to that used in metal flyscreen). if u need filling in, plz refer...

http://www.overclock.net/showthread.php?t=22925

anywayz, from this thread, i have modified it in my mind, thanx to the suggestions of the guys in that thread, cant rememba names...

so...i cant do it because i dont really have a suitable case (non-tower...), and i no its abit of a stupid remark, but iwas thinking if any1 was interested in trying it...as always, i take no responsibility BLAH BLAH BLAH etc etc etc, but ierally wood like to see the idea in practical operation...if anybody has questions of design etc...just reply here in this thread.... the only thing i havnt quite concluded is the factor of dust, but i think i am very close to solving this...anywayz....any of u brave men (or women<or both>), wish to take up the task? or interested in cotributing? really, i wood try it but i dont hav a proper case, and it woodnt really work...but wen i do get a new case, and i do do abit more problem solving, i might post it up....

cheers......

for future reference, if youve already created a thread on a specific topic, theres no reason to create a new thread on that same topic... simply add to the original thread...

Well I never read the original, so I'm kinda glad it's reposted :P I really dont care how many times someting is posted over and over again, it's all new every time, I wouldn't lose sleep over it :P But it sounds like an idea, just have a steel frame and cover it in mesh :P Weld the ends and sand to make smooth and you're all good. I'd actually make something better than using another tower's mobo board, those things would take away alot of it's effectiveness as the heat behind the board would be kinda trapped, like, not trapped but confined. Anyways, it's an idea, but personally I'll just buy a tower that hasn't got holes in it for now. It'd be a alright mod if done right, but alot of time in it to make something you can get with a couple of decent positioned case fans. good luck though
