I am looking to see the finished result of this. If it turns out well you should patent the design lol. !

I'd be more than happy to sell them, but as it stands now I'm making only one for myself. As far as the math and such involved,my boss said he is more than happy to help. Which good because I can see it in my head, but I'll need his help to realize it. Basically I won't be milling out anything, maybe some polishing and such but thats about it.
You needs fins. Heaksinks work by increasing surface area. This is why a 3x3" copper block would cool less than a 1x3" heatsink.

If you intend to do this without fins.... then don't bother. Make smaller HS that have fins and they will perform better.

patent. Doesn't matter on the build since I want it for myself and not really sale.(not that I would actually do that=P )

There will be fins, just not like standard heatsink.I do not have the machine to do that. The picture I put together just shows surface area without fins,it was kind of a quick drawing.

The memory is one height, all the smaller VRMs are another separate height, one fet that is normally sinked is a good deal higher than ether the memory or the other fets.

Concept looks pretty good, and I'm sure such a heatsink would be quite handy for volt-modders and water coolers.

However, if the card is not being overvolted, and has good air flow, no heatsink is necessary for any of the VRMs or the memory. I have an S1 that has been on a GT and a GTS (G92) and with any reasonable ammount of air flow, the bare components stay as cool, or cooler than the what the stock heatsink can provide.
