Alternative method so read this before you decide whether this is feasible or not..
Has anyone ever tried hooking up multiple compressors to a mini fridge so that you could run it 24/7? Don't know if they exist, but maybe some sort of electronic controlled valve to control which compressor will be running + microcontroller attached to a relay to control which compressor is on and which valves to open. in theory.. you could run with one compressor for an hour... automatically switch to the second compressor for an hour.. switch to a third compressor for another hour.. and return back to the first compressor.. Might be costly if you can't find any old compressors but hey, worth a shot right?

My Duff beer mini-fridge runs 24/7 It uses a -10 degrees C compresor i believe maybe it has 4 build into one.
Ill try to do some research for you

Yes, but unless you have some kind of newfangled beverages that you keep in there, the compressors don't have to deal with a ~300 watt output.

But in theory.. multiple compressors would work right?
itll give each compressor some cool down time to prevent them from having to work 24/7

Continuous. Without stopping.
Switching from one to the other. Stopping. The logic seems sound.

I have a better idea. Take the compressor out of a portable A/C unit and put the cooling coil and temp sensor inside the fridge (or a portable ice cooler).
Those portable A/C units have heavy duty compressors inside. Only thing is, you need to vent the hot exhaust outside a open window.
