I went from 63C idle to 58C idle with my cooling mod. Then to 53C idle after replacing stock paste with AS5.
No picture with AS5 though. My cooling mod. Hope it gives you some ideas. ![]() ![]()

yeah, i know of the one for the GTS, but the GT fins are box shaped, so a straight down approach isnt the best...look at the above pic

A 120mm case fan should be able to sit on the flat heat sink.

$35 for a thermaltake duorb works wonders. I idle at 32C with each card. Load never breaks 50C

hey could take like a electric motor and rig it to the top of the fan, super suped up fan.....heh. you could also just add like a 60/80mm fan to the top of the cooler with the top on to add more airflow dont know how much it would add.

Make a shroud for an 80mm fan and put it on the air intake for the stock fan. It might even help to take the stock fan out..... But i'm thinkin that it's time for you to step up to a thermaltake duorb!

Yeah.
__________________Not a whole lot you can do to the stock cooler beyond pulling the fan out, enlarging the hole in the shroud and gluing a higher flow (and high static pressure) fan to it.
