Default HD3850 w/3870 stock cooler

Title says it all. I managed to put my 3870 stock cooler onto my bro's 3850. Only prob is that the mem heatsinks are missing, so i got some cheap RAM heatsinks and put it on. I couldnt use VGA Ramsinks cause there just wasn't enough clearance.

Too lazy to install and test the card right now.. its 2:30am and got school tomorrow at 6am, so -_-

well i it's just an experiment. I also have an AC Accelero on my 3870, so i decided that i should put the nice looking 3870 HSF to good use :P


I popped the card in and WOW, big difference in temps. Havent done any ocing yet, but the temps went from 58*C to 35*c. amazing.
