Two stacked up in front (classic Nine Hundred), one on the back end of the modular case thing holding the bottom front fan, one in the side panel, one on the right side of my GeminII cooling RAM (left side cools CPU so I don't count that, though there are actually 7 120mm fans in my system), one in the top rear.

Hey toast,

You can get an Ultra 4 fan controller for $12 bucks @ Fry’s (should not set you back too bad ). I've had mine now for about 4 months and it works great:

Hey blankthis,

Here are some pics of the hole I made for a new GPU intake (bottom right of the CPU intake...it works great, my GPU temps went down by 4-5C! ). If you click on the 1st image you can see the straightened paper clip I used as a center brace for the screen:

Just a question....why do you have your side fan as an exhaust (unless I missed something)? I found that intake fans work much better as long as you have adequate exhaust out the back and/or top!

Q tks for the info but the Box that i had before was way out of date and it was time to get something alittle less cramped... I dont really think the fan controller would had done to much for me except possibly brought down the noise and the temps up... I could be wrong about the temps but it was a cramped case.... Getting much better temps with the new case though...

Remember back when you had an AMD Duron 1200 or for you Intel users a ****ty Pentium 3? Well I found my old heat sink and fan (Thermaltake) from that build and I wanted to do something cool because I was bored, my parents were angry at me, I don't have any friends and I just felt like being unsocial.

Who still uses their floppy drive? Well I don't so I decided to turn mine into a air intake. Ok so bye bye to floppy drive...

Next I figured a way of mounting on some brackets right where the floppy drive used to be so I can use the gap for sucking cooler air in.

Wee bit dusty... I'll take care of that...

I already had cut a whole and made an exhaust fan in the side panel... Here it is..

What do you think? Good idea or I'm just being an idiot?

The fact that you took the time and initiative to go hands on inside your case and do a mod is great! Following the advice of the other members who posted here would be the next step. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I have taken all your advice to mind and I have decided to change a few things. I will post the pictures when I'm done.
