Default LN2 pots in the making - Update with GPU pot action

Well, after seeing the abundance of LN2 in my area, I decided it would be a fun project to try. There is phase change and tec forums here, but no LN2 , so I post here. I have started with a 2.5" diameter copper rod. Keep in mind I am using this to learn how to use a lathe .
Early progress:

Finished by brazing a 7" section of 2-1/8" OD copper pipe. cheers

And the DICE bios

Edit: finished!! Benched w/DICE, waiting for a chance to LN2 for bench's
Edit2: now with gpu pot on page 5

Lookin good so far, working with lathes is so much fun.

If I remember right though it is still a good idea to have some raised areas in the bottom. Something like some pins sticking up or whatever.

Still it should work very well and be sure to keep us updated.

Tbh i'd say you wouldnt need pins/fins with L2N, maybe dry ice...

I wanna try dry ice, would be fun =)

You are right, and my original plan was to have a raised center pole (thats what she said, I know). I was talked out of it though as being to complicated for a first lathe project. next pot will though, hopefully

thanks! finished yesterday night. pictures (hopefully good quality) to follow, with some benching when I can find some time.

Planning on the e8400, haven't tested max fsb with this board/chip, but people have had good luck with them. hopefully circa 600fsb

Wellllll, started with DICE to get the hang of this thing... pretty wet behind the ears , whew it isn't condensation , seriously though, a few scares.
start with some crap pictures of setup - I'll borrow or buy a real camera sometime....

then some 3dmark06

I can still tweak spp<==>mcp, and memory. PCIE @ 115MHz - need an ide drive for any higher. cards are maxed with current cooling setup - room to tweak that though
Orb link
and spent some tome on superPi

damndest 9 sec wall though. I can't get my memory any higher MHz with good timings - unstable at boot, cas6 is slower ~ 9.050s, and need more juice FSB/spp and gtlref tweaking for higher fsb. deadend for now. oh well happy for now

I have LN2 available, but I am not sure it will help, unless fsb is CPU and not board related (tried higher than 575 with low multi, not an inch over 575 atm...
