i was just messing around and i noticed that if you hold canned air upside down and spray it into a metal container, it stays a liquid, and is very cold... i don't have a thermometer so i can't say how cold but it seems this could be used for sub zero cooling, and if you put about a tablespoon of the liquid in a metal measuring cup and put it in water it will freeze the water around it, but stay a liquid for a good 2 minutes. if you could get enough of this into a dry ice pot it could be pretty useful i think.
BUT what is in canned air? i can't find it anywhere online, and at first i thought it was carbon dioxide but it wouldn't stay a liquid no matter how cold at 1 atmosphere pressure from what i'm seeing online.

You just figured this out now? XD Now what you do is, spray your friend in the back when he leasts expects it. Also, my friend did this with his Athalon. It was like 36c Idle, and he sprayed it and it dropped to 4c...and there I was...without canned air.
Also, as for ingredients...I have no idea. It think it starts with an N though.

Here are the ingredients.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canned_air I thought it was water at first. Sprayed it on my thigh. Holy Antarctica. Cold.

I think it evaporates pretty quickly (what typically happens with very cold liquids) so I'm not sure how good it would be for cooling....

I dont know what it is, but my father is a drug counselor, and he's always telling me to watch how much of it I spray indoors. The stuff can be used to huff, so I wouldnt recommend breathing it. I had a can somewhere, Ill see if its still around. Bottom line though, is that the stuff is toxic.

lol, upside down canned air is fun, instant frostbite!!
Ohh and if you say... spray a dormmates nipple for a few seconds, it will really really hurt for it to even touch clothing a day or two later.
