It's better than water for humans because it has electrolytes. Not for watercooling comps.

There was a site that did a test with a bunch of random materials, including beer, but I don't think they used gatorade. In any event, it would corrode and get sticky gunk all over your loop.

gatorade is not a good idea.. this reminds me of a bad idea which involved a pound of granular ammonium nitrate and the water already in the system. I will admit it got cold, cold enough to freeze up and completely destroy the pump. Along with having a pound of explosive oxidizer floating around in my (then) 2000 dollar machine.

moral of the story: Although water dissolves ammonium nitrate, its a bad idea... so is gatorade..

Its also got sugar in it...something I'd rather keep out of my loop (unless pure glucose).
