Default Mineral Oil Bath....

Anyone on this forum try this yet???

Kinda makes me think you could chill the oil big time, with no worries of condensation. The downside is obviously the mess, but isn't this a viable alternative to the guys using dry ice?

Not worth it. It will work until the overall temp of the fluid gets too high. Also, talk about a mess.

No, not at all.

Infact it will cool worse than air cooling!

Also it would make it very nasty once it is removed.

Once it has been turned on, it really cannot be cooled terribly well and the oil just heats right up. Fans burn out, and water pumps cannot pump it without the chance of frying.

Cool novelty, but thats about it.

And I don't know where you got that?????? but they added a radiator and some fans and it performed WAY better then air cooling my friend.
