So has anyone tried using a centrifugal blower to cool their PC?
Something like this ![]() I have one in my basement and figured it would make a fun project if noone has done it yet With this much air pressure a case would have to be streamlined so as not to break apart :/

They're pretty inefficient compared to an axial fan.

Yeah, but I dont have an industrial strength fan just a blower.
Besides, its nozzle is about the size of a regular case fan, so its alot easier to deal with.

I wonder if you could reverse the flow direction for some uber exhaust system.

My neighbor works in construction, got it from him so I have no idea. Google "centrifugal fan" i guess.

I dunno, I'm thinking of making a case to do this with....a regular case would probably break apart under this pressure, and the expansion cards may just crack in half without any support.

Because the air pressure would be tremendous. Delta fan = what, 80cfm? This blower = at least 2,000cfm.
