the only thing u have better 2 do is get the hell out of my thread.

gee, hmmm, it's gonna take more electricity 2 run 2 pelts as opposed 2 1??? no way, u think of that all by ur lonesome?

wow, the hot side has 2 b cooled enuff 4 the cold side 2 get colder? like i said, by BY HOW MUCH?!?!

perhaps n ur next reply u could actually answer questions, or maybe say "i dunno", instead of spouting off like u actually have a pair. and answering a question by re-typing general theories that u just stated n another post isn't an answer, it's a symptom of being ignorant.

.....lol. I was like wow when i read all his comments.
Honestly dude your not helping anybody when you come into threads and go on about how someone obviously has no idea of something in each of your posts. Kinda gets insulting.

Anywho. eRazorzEDGE. I really wanna see some this when you get those fins in. Lately I've been giddy about mods like this. Glad to see Ira posting so frequently now too lol.

I am off work and I am sick and not feeling to great.

Manufacturers of pelts dont produce 2,3 ,4 stage pelts in anything bigger than about 40w qmax or so, certainly nothing in the order of the ones we use. They are considered so inefficient that they are not considered a good idea by any manufacturer. Don't take my word for it, go and find one and see for yourself. Since the manufacturers dont produce them in the sizes people try and use there are no charts to work from. It is not possible to answer your question in any way but this:-

If you study manufacturers lists atwo stage raises the delta max from about 69 average to 80 average. So there is a good chance the difference will be 80 at Imax. There is no hard and fast rules on how cold the coldsidewill get because it depends how cold the hotside is but assuming excellent cooling of the hotside the cold side will be 80C less if you are running the pelt at Imax or a lower value if you are undervolting it, down to the working temps of the pelt about -50C on average. You can't tell because there are no charts because the manufacturers dont produce them because they don't make 2,3,4 stage pelts at these wattages. It not considered a good idea.

I wish you luck on this project hope it woks out.

Now as you suggested I will butt out.

yeah, that ramsink route would wind up costing me over 200 bux... so no go. i was also thinking of buying a bit of 16 gauge solid wire, but that would take so much work 2 not b feasible. then i saw lueler's thread on xtremesystems and his use of copper mesh, but again, i'd need 2 buy $75 worth of mesh 2 fill this thing.

but that's when it hit me, y not just go buy another radiator?!? so i looked up a heater core from a bonneville and found 1 at the local Auto Zone 4 around 45 bones. so i'm thinking of putting some copper plate that i can get at work 4 free (tee hee) and wrapping the fins of the heater core with it and sandwiching the tec's either side of it... i figure if this don't work, there's just no way it will work

zipdogso... thx 4 the nfo

How hard would it be to make you water chamber more shallow? Chop the top on it..
That would increase turbulence, take a drill and drill little dimples all over the sides that directly touch the cold side, that will increase turbulence a lot...Your want more turbulence, that will increase thermal transfer...But you want to have that turbulence right on the surface thats touching the TEC...

^^^Tell him shake...

But its so much fun.........If you think thats a mess you ought to try re-seating a direct die TEC sometime, di-electric grease all over everything, its a royal pain...But its something to play with, sometimes i think it might be more fun to beat on my foot with a hammer though...

Thats my job .
Speaking of royal pains I need to start modding my armor for internal W/C.
Keep inspiring guys.
