How much of a difference would it be if I took of my side panel and just put a portable fan next to it?

Ya good point. I just need to do it for the day hours because my temps are way to high during the summer. I need it to cool down.
Just tried it. No good only a 1 degree drop on both the cpu and gpu

Im surprised... I would expect a 5C drop.
You sure you monitored temps well during load?

I do this with my air purifier except the air comes out of a 2inch by 4 inch hole so it cools like 10C off normall temps.
