Compressed gas safe on mobo?

I was using a can of compressed gas to lower temps, but since it can ice the mobo, just wondering if it's safe?
Also, post your results if you do the same ![]() I get 5C drop at idle of the CPU after one spray.

yeah, its definitely safe. But every time I do it the results are minor and the area I did it in has a nasty taste to the air.

I imagine that as long as you don't condense any water on the electronics, it's fine. There was a vid posted here a long time ago where some guy got sub-0C temps on his rig by doing the same thing (I think it was quite a bit lower than 0), but it took a lot of the coolant to do so...
(1) don't condense water (2) don't asphyxiate yourself

Actually there are cans of the exact same stuff that are made for cooling electronics. They have a straw inside the can so you don't need to tilt the can upside down.
