(I am really not being sarcastic, I just aren't too good at english)

Hi, I love this thread.

@Adreinspawn : You sir are genius. I could never have come up with a thread title so bewilderingly good. grats. also, +1 for the fact that you can start this off with so few words!

I have actually done this. Old AMD Duron 700mhz rig. guts of mini-fridge i.e. peltier & H/sinks. fits into 3 5&1/4 bays.

Take 2 old CD drives, chop bottom out of top one, and top out of bottom one. insulate with polystyrene on inside. Think "whoops wheres pelt goingnow ?" then cut out peltier sized hole in polystyrene. so only the drive case metal is there. use goo of choice & some bolts to attatch peltier & HSF stuff to outside of bottom drive, other side of polystyrene hole.
polystyrene to bottom of the whole thing, not obscuring HSF.

connect up to 12v or whatever for you peltier by hijacking a molex etc.... attatch to PC case drive bays (Oh, bingo! pre sized for thick people who cant read OP). find some way of attaching more polystyrene on a sprung hinge to act as a door.
do something for a while......
then open
drink
and laugh whilst friends realise they have no imagination.

I've also made a ROUGH tally of people who can/cant read:
43 can (including those who corrected themselves)
64 cannot (including those who got it, then came back and went wrong!)
7 people tried to tell correct readers they were wrong, got put right (i.e.told that the 7 were wrong), and then protested innocence / went wrong again.

your initial 1:1 ratio, it seems was quite close at the start , then people got worse towards the end.

I WILL HAVE PICS to explain my scribbled instructions. these will, if i remember, arrive within a few days.
