thats a great idea, except for when it actually gets to -40C and your pc can't warm the air fast enough. you'll be freezing your butt off, and even orthos won't keep you warm!

What i had in mind is leave the computer outside for the whole winter and never bring it in. It that be ok or condensation will destroy it. Also is there any ways to prevent it ?

I put my tower outside the window last winter and it ran nice and cool. It does not get super cold here in Virginia so sub zero temps wont be the norm.
This was with my 6000+ and have not tried it on my Phenom yet, but winter is coming...

extremely creative...maybe i can do the same thing with my next rig? Instead of wasting 500 bucks on watercooling, i can go spend way cheaper for a couple of fans and hoses.

after all...it's colder 300km north of calgary don't you think? :P (Hint: Oilers/Eskimos FTW.)

$500? Wow, all my stuff was half that...

I gotta find out where that guy lives that puts his computer outside in the winter, because hey, free computer.

Freeroller...you know it don't get cold enough here to bother ducting in air...besides, I'm going to save tons this winter heating my apartment with my computer...
