That's what I was thinking put it next to the window and use less tubing.

Lastnight it got down to 2.7C so I shut my computer room door put a fan in the window for an hour made some coffee and ran a couple benches.

I was wondering if the whole PC is at -40 and another thing when it's that cold it's so darn dry, Hmm.

I got a separate power supply on the other end, with a fan controller.. So my room doesn't always sound like a turbine engine.

Default A little different but helpful for those interested....

I just drew this up on my pc. I hope it helps with some ideas others may have. I don't have this running now, but I will in less than a month I hope, still approx 80 degrees here. Not worth it. but will be posting pics upon recieving my brothers camera. As far as the Condensation problem I did not have any last year when I did this for the first time. I know humidity can play a factor for those of you living near the coast lines, also the salt in the air from the roads, ocean. Something to think about. I live were there is basically no hummidity, very dry air, in the desert of california, the Mojave (High Desert) Hot summers, cold winters.

Also it uses less ducting making for a cleaner setup, and cold air not being pumped into my room. Also this year I will make a more permanent window dual fan unit, out of somethin more rigid than card board, probally plexi glass.

why not just have the cold in come in the front and out the exhaust? remmember hot aire rises. you would be better off having the top as ehaust and the bottom as intake . i suggest front intake back exhaust for your experiment.

Originally That is what I was thinking, but after moving the desk in front of the window, and running the ducting from the window to the front it was just ugly. So I came up with this and gave it a shot, as far as the hot air is concerned, it's so cold inside My rig, that it just didn't matter.all air coming out or internal was cold. But I do recognize the fgact the the other way would probally lower my temps, I just can't stand looking at it. This way is clean, and I see absolutely nothing. No cold air comes into room, quiet and cheap, just a little extra work.

Nice idea wish it would work around here (northern Cal.) doesn't really get cold enough here to make it worth the effort, but I still might try it, put my rad. outside the window
with fans making a 4 foot extension cord for the fans wouldn't be to hard.

LIE, a cooling system running with -43C fluid running through it only got a CPU to 11C, so unless you are in something around -60C cold no way you got 2C
