Default laptop cooling idea

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...g?t=1241136429

i have a gateway fx laptop, and the pic i drew is scale in inches instead of centimeters. The black represents the exhaust vent for the cpu and the 2 red squares represent how big 2 40mm fans are against the exhaust vent
SO
my question is, is there anyway i can wire 2 of these fans together even if they are 12v and use them in 1 usb port to power them? if not, can i possibly wire 2 5v 40mm fans together to use in 1 usb port? if no to both of the above, can i just power it using a usb hub that is powered w/ an ac adapter so i dont risk burning out the usb port?

Each USB port is suppose to able to provide 2.5w.... so what are the rating of your fans? An undervolted 40mm fan will be less than 2.5w but not sure about two without specs.

hmmm im not sure. i know each usb port can support a certain amount of wattage, but say the two fans were <2.5w together, but were both 5v fans. Can i hook both of them up to one usb port w/o them frying it?

can anyone recommend me a good 40mm fan that will meet these specs if this is possible?
