Default Mineral oil cooling...

So... I was thinking about building a computer submerged in mineral oil, just for the heck of it. Cheapo PSU, and prolly my old Athlon XP motherboard and proc, and prolly a couple of lights. But, I was thinking of adding in a rad and pump for cooling. Would a normal watercooling pump be able to handle mineral oil?

Also, I would be using an aquarium, but would need holes for the ins and outs of the loop. So I was thinking plastic might be a good bet... do they make plastic aquariums? Any problems with that idea?

A normal water cooling pump won't work...

I don't know about anything else....

Its just all around a bad idea...you get really bad temps with it. worse then stock air.

People use fans to circulate the oil.

True, but that is why he wanted to try using a pump and a rad.

See the third quote. Do you have any proof to back what you say up? Because puget certainly didn't have a problem...
