Default PC in a Freezer in a oil bath.

Does a fridge cooled oil sebmerged pc sound fesable. What im thinking is if I let the oil cool a few hours before firing up the pc it will get me a extra few hours before the oil reaches max temp.

Wait, you mean a PC inside a fridge? No way, been discussed hundreds of times. A fridge is designed for keeping cold things cold, not expelling hot air. You would cook your PC quickly in a fridge.

Fridge+PC=disaster.

Now, if you are talking about just chilling the oil when the PC is not on, then possibly, however, you will have to remove the pc from the fridge before every boot.

You would be better off running something like the Hardcore Reactor runs, which is oil that is pumped over the hotspots of the PC through tubing, and then sucked back out, and through a GIANT radiator.

Yes a pc in a fridge but submerged in oil. The fridge would not have to run all the time only to cool the oil after about 1 hour or so of game play and since I never play more than 1hour at a time (I got Kids) the oil will never reach max temp.

Please... use... apostrophes...
And wow... yes, you could run your PC for a few hours, but the oil would heat up to hotter than we'd all like halfway through, and you're better off just air-cooling it.

If you want to cool a pc submerged in oil do it the proper way, put some radiators in the oil and run cold water through them, fridges and PCs don’t really work together unless you want a phase change cooler. And PCs under oil, now that’s a bad idea altogether.

Also, you will have to wait a while when you remove it, because there is a small possibility that condensed water could have got onto the computer parts, depending on how long you have the PC in the fridge for.

PC's under Mineral Oil is actually pretty good, the oil takes ages to heat up, and by the time it does, you probably wont be gaming any more, so temps will be amazing.
