Since my mom finally turned on the A/C i wanna make the best of it. Say if I had a wide open bucket, running to a radiator sitting over the heater vent for hte AC, and have air blowing over the water, so like a super chilled swamp cooler. Would i get any better colder air?

Is this central heat and air? If it's a window AC unit just zip-tie your rad to the vent.

It is central heat and air, I have it set up and it makes my room humid and colder, I like it. Forgot to mention it doubles as a drink cooler.

Ziptie your radiator to the unit, otherwise its gonna just affect ur temps 1 - 2 degrees by changing the ambients.
If you run a line straight from your cold central air to your computer, your temps might drop around 4 - 7 degrees I'd say, but not much more. Then again, I've been out drinkin all night, so I might not trust me either.

Some of that made sense, most of it didn't. Nice try I guess since you were drunk though.

Stick the rad in the freezer, if your water has anti-freeze in it.

I'm saying you can do one of two things that will actually change your temperatures, tie your radiator to the air conditioner...or run a duct from your central air (be that the case) straight to your radiator, and have a fan at the end of the duct pointing straight over the radiator. The chilled swamp water idea won't work that well, since cold has a natural tendency to fall, the majority of the air getting to the top of the bucket will have completed many thermal cycles rising and falling and be only slightly cooler than your ambients. Cheers ![]() Graham
