Default 62mm TEC Water Block

I am selling a brand new Water block and Cold plate to take a 62mm TEC or smaller. Im also including M4 mounting hardware.

(cold plate not shown. Barbs not included)

Overview ( every basic )

A TEC is a Thermo Electric cooler
When a current is applied to a TEC a Temperature difference between the two sides are achieved ..

When a TEC is mounted to a CPU and a current is applied to the TEC it will enable you to cool your CPU cooler than a cooler without a TEC. With enough TEC Q and Current you can achieve very low temperatures at load.

Since a TEC is moving heat from the cold side to the Hot is needs to be cooled as efficiently as possible to ensure you get the results your looking for.

I have machined a Water block to cooler your TEC as efficiently as possible and therefore your CPU should be cooled to very low temperature.
Here's a list of features for my block

General

(Pictured next to a Fuzion V1 block)

The Water block and Cold plate are big enough to take a 62mm X 62mm TEC's or smaller.

The Cold plate and Water block is machined from a solid copper block measuring 1/2inchies thick (12.7mm) dwarfing existing water blocks and resulting in excellent heat transfer.

Literally thousands of hours spent improving flow and heat trasfers using computer simulations and prototypes.

(this is just one of the simulations i performed on every variation of the block)

Cold Plate

(Pictured unfinished)

Because of the sheer size of a 62mm TEC you're unable to mount this to your CPU using a flat Cold plate. Most motherboards have capacitors and other components that are higher than the CPU, they prevent you from using a flat plate. My block has a step machined into it, to "Step" over these electronic components enabling the use of the 62mm TEC

The cold plate is bolted to the water block to ensure the correct pressure is applied to the TEC to ensure excellent heat transfer and TEC life expectancy

The blots holding the cold plate and water block together are insulated. This increases efficiency by preventing heat transfer between the cold plate and the water block via the heat conductive zinc coated bolts.

Water Block

The Channel design ensures equal flow across the whole block, ensuring the entire TEC is cooled efficiently.

The walls and floor of the block have "Cut-Outs" to increase turbulence and decrease laminar flow.

Cover

(Pictured unfinished)

The cover has one inlet and 2 out lets. The central inlet ensures the coldest water is hitting the hottest part of your TEC and efficiently cooling it. The two outlets ensure Perfect flow distribution while ensuring the least restriction possible and therefore producing a high flow block.

The cover has "TEC" machined into the clear cover to let everyone that casts their eye across your rig know there's something special under the hood (If the sheer size of the block hasn't already dropped them to the floor)

The cover is made of Clear Acrylic so you can see the beautiful machined block.

The cover is bolted to the Water block using clear screws to keep everything aesthetically pleasing

Mounting hardware

( Pictured with barb these screws have changed a bit from this design now)

Supplied with my block are 60mm M4 bolts and clear Acrylic thumb screws.

(Pictured Barbs and TEC not included)

Will it fit

The block is designed for LGA 775 and 1366 and AM2. i can make the cover to fit any socket if requested .. Please let me know what socket you require.

You will need to make sure you have the space to fit this water block against your CPU and make sure it will clear any electronic components. Below are the dimensions of the cold plate to help you make sure it fits.

It is up to the buyer to ensure the block fits your motherboard. In saying that no one has ever reported that it wouldn't fit

How well does it work ?

I have a Q6600 overclocked to 3600@ 1.41Vcore
Please note the Core temps doesn't go below 11,4
Ambient 18.6
Run at 5 volts off the PC's PSU
CPU at idle
Please be aware the below numbers were tested on one of my older prototypes, so the newer blocks will perform better.

Full load 3600mhz 40 minutes (yes i know it says 2.4 but that's a win7 thing)
Mean well PSU @17.2v

You're saying with this you kept CPU temps below the readable level at full load with a q6600 @ 3.6 ghz? If I recall correctly watercooled I was in the 60 range.

That's very impressive.

Did you have to insulate the mobo/cpu against condensation?
