Default Pricing for Basic Services

Hi All

I get a lot of PMs asking what I charge to build a rig or install an LCS so I thought I would post up some pricing to give you all a starting point.

I no longer ship turn key systems out of the US unless the client handles all the shipping. Otherwise no problem. I have a 100% success rate/client feedback on my shipping with only one international disaster in my 4 years of building/shipping.

Here is how I break it down for clients.

5% on top for me to shop/research for your build. Meaning if you want me to do the purchasing or reccomend hardware I will need 5% of the cost of that HW. Clients start an account with CDPC by sending Check. MO or making a PP payment. PM for details.

Everything else is pretty much fee based.

$150 to assemble and test PC HardWare. This includes rigorous benchmarking and stabliity testing for turn key rigs. Does not include the OS or other required SW. At my discretion I will install, update and debug SW but it is not something I go looking for...I am strictly a HW specialist.

$150 to assemble and test LiquidCooling HardWare (one block, $75 extra per GFX or Chipset waterblock) includes modifications to case and any simple brackets, mounts, hardware required. Includes tubing I stock. Includes clamps I stock. Does not include the actual LC HW.

$15 per hole to make fan holes, $15 to make cable management Holes.

$150 to powdercoat prepped chassis in a single layer color (white, red, black etc) that the coaters or I have in stock. $225 for two layer colors. $275 for three layers colors. $45 per hour in 1 hour increments to strip paint (prep for powdercoat on non-aluminum or painted cases). I have a growing number of custom colors in stock. Sparkle Pink, Sparkle White. Starburst Fiasco, Pearl Topcoat etc.

$75 for a custom window includes materials for acrylic I stock (UV red, orange, blue, clear, non UV blue and coke bottle green, grey-transparent) $15 extra for material I need to order.

The following are special pricing for clients (lower as a "thank you" for the work)

$5 per lead to sheath in sheathing I stock (Black, CarbonFiber, Chrome) includes Heatshrink I stock (UV red blue or green, Black, Red, Blue, Purple). Other colors add $5 per lead.

$5 per lead to shorten or extend a lead includes repinning.

$25 to "squid" sheath the Front Panel Leads and I/0 cabling.

No Charge to install lighting, change out fans, manage cabling for client builds.

CyberDruidPC/Waterputer/taliesin~designs are not responsible for RMA or warranties extended by Hardware Manufacturers or voided by our modifications. We do completely warranty our own workmanship and materials for any case mods or installations including but not limited to powdercoat, windows, wiring.

Thanks for your continued support of my Mod Biz PM for exact quotes on your requirements.

I am surprised to see your prices are so low. I expected your magic to cost more.

CD does some of the best work I've ever seen, and at these prices you can't beat the build quality he creates.

I've been lucky enough to have some great clients with amazing ideas that I got to bring to life. That's the part I enjoy...catching that dream.

Good pricing, I was actually thinking of doing some custom machines to help me reach my goal of getting $2000 for my Tokyo Vacation Mayhem. With this I have something to work with.

Thank You
