Got the fans on the rad and completed the loop and spent quite a while diddling with some silly LEDs for the res. Not a drop leaking anywhere. I will run it in for another 12-24 hours though.

Now I need to finish the cabling and add some CCL lights. This puppy is 90%.

Whodie - its a SpinFX, there were a very limited number made by TribalOverkill.

Just to warn you, liqwidstyx, some of the reservoirs are actually falling apart now, due to the glue T.O. used not being strong enough I believe...so if you see a leak you know why. You can get them sorted out though when they break I think - maybe worth contacting the retailer and just checking out this story?

Loving what you have done with the res CD BTW, its an amazing idea

I am afraid you are correct sir. I had heard the same from Darth Beavis over at XS and from Marcus000 here. However it did not appear to be leaking when I flushed it after tapping the ports to BSPP. I filled it repeatedly...but the leak is more of a weapage--and really only shows up well under UV.

I emailed Liqwidstyx and will wait to hear back before continuing the work.

A real shame too because it will be a lot of work...a LOT of work taking everything apart and reworking the reservoir. Work that neither of us bargained on.

The only remedy I can think of is to cut the top off and sand the cylinder perfectly flat and re-glue a new top and then shape and polish that to perfection...no easy task I assure you.

Because the PC ICe is like Antifreeze it has coated the crevice with a substance no glue will stick to or solvent will fuse..so it is not possible to simply reglue the joint in place....

My concern now is that the interior spiral will become undone and the bits will all fall to pieces in the reservior..or worst of all the bottom piece will develop a leak sometime later and compromise the hardware inside the case.

Right now a little weep up top is casusing now harm. But a month from now a catastrophic failure could result in a total loss.

I have to let my client decide how best to proceed.

CD i shot you an email. Gosh this sucks eh?

I sent an email to rob at watercoolinuk as I heard there is another batch of non defective rezs. MY HOPE is that he can next day air a non defective rez ASAP and I in turn will next day air it to you. Perhaps it would not be to difficult to retap and swap the ****e one for a good one? I will pay you for the troble and take up my extra costs with Rob. let me know how that sounds.

While I appreciate your concern the fact is I would rather forego my rig so that it can be fixed but I hope this doesnt interefere with your other work or anything. Gosh this sucks. If things are ammended with Rob and TribalOverkill litigation may be in order.
