I will pay you for the troble and take up my extra costs with Rob. let me know how that sounds.
As you might have heard from Rob by now, you heard wrong unfortunately

Rob (the owner of WatercoolingUK) got all his stock from CaseKing, who are now offering refunds on the reservoirs and not replacements.

However, as he recommending, getting in touch with TribalOverkill is another idea. If he isn't willing to take the reservoir back and fix the top then you have two options really - get a refund on the res or find out if TribalOverkill will fix it. A comment on the WCUK forums makes it sound like he will fix them but I'm not sure to be honest.

The odd thing is I've just spoken to the marketing rep from AcRyan - who commisioned these reservoirs - and he says that he has heard nothing of it...he said he'll look into it though and I'll let you know what he finds

You certainly have your finger on the sweaty pulse of the watercooling nation my friend.

Are you reading my emailz?

I just got the shipping info from Tribal Overkill and will be overnighting the reservoir today. I only wish I had flow tested the reservoir under pressure. I'll be doing that when it returns...be sure...with an Iwaki RD30

So all it well in the land AquaPrima. GTG TTL.

Haha, was it that obvious?

Good to hear that he'll be fixing his mistakes, after looking into how he built the reservoirs the amount of glue which goes on and then is removed by polishing/sanding seems to mean that there is simply not enough contact surface area left

Any idea on the turn around from TribalOverkill? I wanna see this case finished and in action

Anyway, good luck liqwidstyx, and I'll be keeping my eye on you...I mean this log...CD

HAX

Reservoir is in the mail. I did not drain the entire sys--just capped off the lines.

I will continue on with Liquid Fusion and get every detail attended so that all I need to do is put the res in the loop and refill. After leaktesting the reservoir under pressure of course.

I have lights to mount and since my client has been so geneerous I will take a little extra time to wire up a proper battery of switches to control them all.

Although the flas tube/LED lights for the top are interesting the lack of a real-looking connection to the LED plugs makes it look a little unfinished. I have tried several ideas to make a clean and easy connection for the top plugs that will house some LEDs.

I just came up with yet another idea so I will give that a shot. What I want is tubes connected to the top of the reservoit to look like plumbing--but in actuality will simply stealth the wiring for the LEDs...

So I will make a couple of "knobs" from 1/2" acrylic and drill and tap them for 1/4 BSPP and fuse them to the alphacool plugs--that way I can fish the LEDs through the tubing and 3/8 barb fitting to the Alphacool plug. It will be a time consuming project...but ultimately will make a much better presentation of the res.

Excellent touch on the mirror stuff.

Is it an actual glass mirror or some sort of reflective metal?

Either way that is a cool idea. If i can find some reflective stuff i might try that on my case... It's sitting in a corner all lonely

It is 1/8" acrylic.

Reservoir has been sent to Tribal OVERKILL to be repaired. Hope to see it back on Tuesday.
