Wink 8800GT WaterBlock

Hey Guys I am working on getting a new type of moodular waterblock to review here for the 8800GT.

Please let me know if this is a product you would purchase from www.cyberdruidpc.com

I have determined that the MCW60 from Swiftech is compatible...so there's one option already available to you.

If you guys with 8800GT are interested in LCing your cards please let me know.

I can arrange a 10% discount over retail for Swiftech parts and as soon as I get this new modular waterblock from Blastflow I will let you know.

Here's a link to it in action http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquir...gpu-block-gets

This is the UK block that's shaped like an Iron Cross?

Hey CD, I was talking to Martin about making a simple UNISink for the 8800GT. Maybe you would be interested in that as well?

Well sure. I am all about promoting our memebrs here

Just got word from Vadim and he is forwarding my request to the Sole US distributor. We'll see what happens.

I like the BlastFlow design because it is a moodular full coverage system. If you change or upgrade cards it will be inexpensive to get a fullcoverage plate because the actual waterblock fits a number of cards.

Here's my idea on a memory/VRM heatsink that will be compatible with any GPU only waterblock. It should be "easy" to mill out of a 3x7x1in block of aluminum (raw material cost of $25)

It is a rough draft going off pictures:
1) Shave off a little area for the taller VRM
2) Cut out the area for the fan header, SLI connector, and GPU block
3) Cut verticle lines for fins
4) Cut horizontal lines for more fin surface area (I forgot to add this in model)
5) Use drill press to add mounting holes.

Any idea if the FuZion GPU block would be compatible with that module, CD?

Yes. Any stand alone block will be. It's full coverage blocks that will not.

What block are you talking about CD? Just this thing?

Or the whole Blastflow thing?
