Client Build Log: Pippen's Armor
Hi guys!
Time for another client build...I'm excited. This is a straightforward build for Pippen. I've ordered all the parts and in a few days I will start documenting the build. Here's the Spec: TT Armor case Q6600 (G0 naturally) Thermalrite 120 (lapped) P5K Deluxe Wifi 4GB Kit of G Skill DDR2 800 320GB WD for the OS 3 x 500GB WD for storage eVGA 8800GT 512 OCZ GameStream 700 Watt PSU These components are for a capable no hassle rig that can do it all but will primarily be doing graphical work. It's an aircooled rig and we chose a build that is tried and true. Having nearly an identical rig myself I know it's a solid performer...not cutting edge...but certainly quite powerful. More later in the week

            *******************************************  Holes for the USB/Firewire and the FP stuffz  Holes for the other cabling  Cabling routed  The TT HDD cages suck...at least for this application...there will be more cutting and drilling to make this work...   Should make for a very tidy interior  That's when the propane ran out...more soon          Remember the motherboard covers that bare area....   Drives and controler in place.  This will make more sense in place  Shazaaam! Instant custom Armor.  It takes your eye off those "lovely" tool-less bay things and matches the interior perfectly.     It's starting to take shape...  Sorry about the blur...the HyperNeutronium Forcefield is messing up my camera...

Final
    UV, BLue, White CCL light switches installed.     SATA cables routed, light wires tucked away everything is everything.  Testing the front fans and light kits with a spare PSU.   Testing the rear and top fans,  Still need to wire up the LEDs for the side fan.        All lit up.     Blindside buttoned up: no bulge.      Considering there are 4 HDDs. 2 DVD burners, 6 Lights. 7 fans and a NON modular PSU I think it's pretty sanitary. Unfortunately the blue lights freak out my camera so the pictures do not represent the actual hue of the lamps or LEDs...but I think you get the idea.  Child's play...  About ready for the mobo again...Thanks Nita Lou...  Nice looking stuff...   Twice as nice now...
