It was always a part of my case mod to have a front bay res. Since the case is two feet tall its not really practical to have a window up there. Not to mention the case is already painted and assembled.

Yeah I'm just messing with ya.
It's a huge case. I gotta make a run to the PO and when I get back I'll start slicing and dicing.

The hard part will be granting all those wishes when friends start throwing coins in it, lol. Great idea. I can't wait to see it.

![]() Now that's a piss poor drawing right there. ![]() You did say you wanted the reservoir made from particle board right? ![]() What's old Cyber doing...squaring his saw is what... ![]() Action shot: look Ma: no hand! ![]() I am using the actual material to gauge the thickens.. it is not exactly .25. Damn you Lowes...lying dogs... ![]() Three patterns for 6 pieces... two sides topand bottom and front and back ![]() Scotch #926 transfer tape is perfect for temporarily yet FIRMLY adhering the blanks to the patterns ![]() I cut the blanks about an 1/8" oversize to make for the least amount of trimming. ![]() Blanks adhered to patterns. ![]() A nice sharp bit is crucial to success. ![]() TIGHT! ![]() ![]() SNOW! ![]() Then slap another blank on top of each trimmed part and do it again. ![]() Router leaves a nice edge. ![]() Pop them apart with a very thin putty knife being careful to not scratch them. ![]() And there are the parts for the box part of the reservoir. We will take a brief intermission and come back for layout and assembly

![]() ![]() Using an old optical drive I layout for the screw holes that will attach the reservoir to the optical bay. ![]() There's the layout for the sides. ![]() ![]() Here I am using a piece of the particle board I drilled on the press to keep the dang tap perindicular to the work...the tap has a tengency to lean over as it goes through the relaticely thin material. ![]() I tested my jig out on a piece of scrap...the Iandh barb mates up. ![]() ![]() ![]() This reservoir gets three inlets and one outlet. ![]() Drilling for the 6-32 tapped holes on the sides. ![]() Parts ready to fuse together..sort of... ![]() Here's the inlets: Acrylic plug in center will receive an LED or a barb. ![]() To ensure the edges stay exactly perpindicular while I sand with 220 I use my table saw and fence to guide the parts... ![]() Okay I determined exactly how wide the internal "shelves" will have to be and to ensure all the many small parts are an exact width I am using yet another pattern on the router table. ![]() ![]() ![]() What are these? Wait and see... ![]() Every blasted part gets a light sanding with 220 to ensure optimal bond strength. ![]() ![]() ![]() I had to very slightly adjust some sizes...even the slightest gap will make this project FAIL. ![]() Now you can see what the wavy part is for... ![]() Now to make three more... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hoooboy that's alot of parts that all have to be exact... At this point it's about 38F and raining outside and about 45F in the shop with the heater blasting up my butt. I had been at it from 11:30 to 6:30 nonstop. Between feeling like crap and being hungry and needing to warm up I just decided to stop... If I feel revived after posting this I may go out and try to finish this up tonight... I need to lightly sand and polish each of the little shelves then glue them in and then glue the side on and then put the top on...Not too much more...but any slip ups now will basically ruin everything up to this point...
