The Bucket did the job.

The lost part...damnation that still irks me.

The new case I bought just to get that part for dimensional purposes.

.

So the next step is to take apart the new case...which I will do in a few minutes...

That powdercoated case looks soooooo sweet. I would pay for mine to look like that without all the time I spent priming, sanding, painting, sanding, repainting, sanding, clearcoating etc...

I got a good finish on the more visible areas of my case, but of course I got some chipping too during install

Good stuff CD, looking sweet!

Honestly....>__> <__< that powder coat better look nicer in person. That just doesnt tingle my fancy, looks like a regular spray can paint job I could have done in my backyard. Sorry, lol.

I'm still irked over that HDD rack, and having to buy a WHOLE other case just for that, and its not even my build or time! LOL

It looks good. The finish is a satin black. Almost all of that gets covered in trim pieces so you will see only the interior and some parts of the open side with the door off.

It looks much better than a spray job...trust me.

And it's quite tough...so not so many worries about chips and scratches.

Yea I know the powder coat would be tougher than rattle can, least I'd hope so. Wouldnt be to sure with that place after the missing piece ordeal, lol. I don't know, maybe its the satin look that throws it off. Just looks pretty regular to me. But I know you'll do your magic and all will be draw dropping CD
