VerTech Compact Techstation Prototype Thread
Hey Guys!
Indignity contacted me about making a stackable vertical mobo techstation (for Folding I assume) and here's what I came up with... It's a rough looking thing  I made it rapidly as a Proof of Concept. SO take that into account.I wanted to make a station that was more affordable. This one is made entirely from PVC. It's lightwieght yet incredibly strong and will be much cheaper to ship than aluminum and acrylic. Expanded PVC Panels and extruded PVC Angles are fused together with clear PVC cement. There is no tedious drilling and tapping and lining up holes and using expensive hardware. This station uses a removable Lian Li Motherboard Tray that you can get from Performace PCs. It's totally tool-less. With some slight additions it can be stackable or oriented horizontally. Check it out

Sweet!
Can't watch streaming vids on my phone, but it's white on rice when I get home! With every purchase throw in a box of Crayolas for people to do their own custom paint jobs!

Revision Two
 Main change is how the HDDs insert: from the ends rather than dropping in. Unit can be set Horizontal or Vertical. 13" x 13" x 13" footprint. More material but probably worth it.

I am hoping to get these down to about $100 shipping in the US. I still need to add all the footage for the new design and see what that wil cost in materials. It's alot more angle...but it's a lot more pro too.
