It's been a lotta lotta work but I am starting to get the shop in shape.

Spent since Saturday doing nothing but 9-5 cleaning and refitting and reorgamanizing everything.

I still have more to go but the shop plan above is actually the way it looks right now.

I have some interesting upgrades still to come as I will be installing a full shop dust collection system for all the bench and floor tools.

The Planer will be shifted to a rolling stand in about aweek after the stand arrives. At that time I may eliminate the 3 x 5 bench in the far end of the shop. It's good to have a beater bench to cut burn and drill on so it might stay.

The tablesaw is on wheels so it can be shifted around as needed.

Under the two long benches on either side of the shop I have all my cases and bags full of power and hand tools...the ones that I do not use all the time.

In the rooling toolchests I have them split between Mechanics tools in one and all the tools I use on a regular basis in the other.

The storage bins are still full oc CyberDruidPC inventory and various odds and ends like adhesives, tape, screws and other hardware, etc etc. I need to thin all that out. Eventually I will do a mass purge of the PC stuff which I am sure will make a lot of people happy when they see it on the FS threads or eBay.

I also have four 8' x 1' shelves two on each side in the front half of the shop. These are above the windows right up by the trusses. These are for more CDPC inventory, cases that are still half modded and so forth...

The Cabinet is to keep the large cans of solvents and other supplies like medical kit, dust masks, glovesm earplugs etc as well as a helluva lot of ammunition

The locker stores most of the firearms.

It's pretty much like all the other shops I have set up over the past 25 years except this one I own and is within walking distance of the house

Now I just need to figure out how to start making money with it

I need to work with some wood. I am thoroughly sick of acrylic lol.

I do have some PC related projects on the fire but first I think I will be making some boxes just to get my hands dusty again

Yes back to basics. I find that doing something simple with a great deal of precision is just the sort of tune up I need.

Don't OC anything too far in those wood boxes. Next thing you know, you're workshop is all black and you are left with a pile of heatsinks explaining to the firemen how it all happened. /sarcasm

I do have some ideas for a mini ITX rig in a nice little box...I think it would be neat to have a fairly powerful rig in something about the size of a cigar box.
