Next one wll probably be pine and ply again since for learning the wasted materials are not so painful.

Because I was just screwing around everything worked out perfectly...but if I only hadone piece of lumber and had to get it right I am sure there would have been endless mistakes

Bottom line is you should know by now that if there is a material that can be cut, screwed or glued I can build from it...so rather than me chasing the unicorn at the end of the rainbow I'll just leave it at this: if you want something built with true attention to detail and 3 decades of experience I'm available.

Sorry I'm not trying to make you angry, it's just my damnable curiosity... In those 30 years have you ever worked with materials like whale bone, mammoth tusk/teeth or any kind of bone/tooth/tusk/horn? I've always liked scrimshaw and thought incorporating similar materials with woodwork would make for interesting pieces. Again, no offense intended.

Looks great CD!

Just one thing I had to say, the hard drive cage seems a bit far away from the motherboard, so have you checked to make sure that the SATA cable can reach the ports on the motherboard?

You could easily use a 1m sata cable, newegg has hordes

Thats what I'm trying to say... the buyer would also have to spend the extra $6-8 on a new SATA cable for every new hard drive...

Any possible way to relocate it inside the box part?
