Hey guys I was approached for the second time by Lamptron about sponsorship.
I am interested to hear what you guys think about Lamptron products and if you use them or would use them or if you even have heard of them. In some recent builds I've used Lamptron parts and found them to be as good as any comparable products. In my Pink Waterputer build I used the Lamptron FC-2 Billet Aluminum 4-channel fan cotroller and their "Vandal" power and reset switches and had nothing but good things to say about them. In the MilSpec build for TheUnlikelyHero I used their switches again as I found them to be almost universally vended (replacing the overpriced Bulgin switches I've used in the past) by etailers of PC parts. So give me some feedback and let me know what you use Lamptron parts for and if you liked them. Thanks

I think it would be a good idea, I have this fan controller for a client build to shut off fans & Cathodes.
It's really high quality, built like a tank. Can't really say much about them since that's all I have. But so far, I'm impressed with their stuff.

I would say it's worth a try. I have the FC-2 fan controller that I modified

It feels high quality and so far the unit works fine as it. Of course I didn't stress out their claimed 45w but meh, I don't feel like buying a delta to try it out.

I've chatted with Rita at Lamptron before, and their stuff is good quality niche items. I would definitely give them a go.

I use this controller and it works awesome for a pack of San Aces. And probably anything you would typically put on a radiator.
Problem is that I got it because it's rated for 60W per channel (300W total they tout!) but it's fed by a single 4 pin Molex connector. ![]() I have a pair of 40wattish fans that counter rotate in one casing (86 Watt total - 70db). Each fan is wired to it's own channel on the controller and it will run them fine at 5v or 12v. But if I also have 8 San Aces on the controller (~50 watts) it won't run my glutton fans at 5v. Even if I start them first, then turn on the San Aces. How's that Acrylic Res and Zebrawood mobo tray coming along?

I'm taking care of a client build right now but I have several projects lined up including your requested items
