Wallhanger Techstation: Latest Iteration
Here are a couple of vids of my latest Wallhanger Wood Techstation. Part of my ongoing quest to develop a servicable, attractive, inexpensive techstation with LC capability that has a small footprint and can be oriented vertical or horizontal and even hung on a wall.
The unit in the vid is the most basic version of it using Cabinet Grade B-2 Birch Plywood and Oak. Glue and air nailed together it's light and strong and can be stained and varnished or painted or left raw. Features include: Quick release HDD mount for two drives plus special screws for your HDDs. Sturdy PCI bracket using "Trapped Tube Technology"  1" tall standoffs Large access holes behind motherboard for cable and tubes and ventilation Neoprene lined shelf for PSU and Optical drive(s) Can be oriented horizontally for DICE or LN2 use. Mount for MCR320/HW Labs 360 radiator with space for push/pull fans Have a look at it with and without Hardware.

Love the cleat-mounting. I love how you man-handle the hardware!  ....or maybe I'm just a "kitty"... lol.
