Although the rad mount and pump bracket are out of action (being coated) I can still can get some things done. Nice thing about this build is that there will not be a lot of cutting and drilling...so I can start installing the hardware to have a look right away.
Obviously the loop will have to wait but I can get the blocks mounted and situate lighting for the res and a few other details like cable extensions and sheathing. When the parts come back from the Powdercoat Facility I'll be able to Move quickly on the plumbing. I plan to use the existing holes in the case for the plumbing. I realised after the fact that I would need to get a few swivel fittings to make that happen in a nice was...no biggy. They are ordered and will arrive well before I get to the plumbing. I have a couple of different ways to get that FAT green Feser tube up and over to the exisitng grommets in the case...but I like to have more parts than I need when I start doing the plumbing.

I had to divert today and get some other things done but the rig is on the bench and will be receiving my undivided attention tomorrow. Stay tuned.

I hooked up the polycarb res I built for this mod to my Alphacool 1510 24VDC pump. This pump is close in flow characteristics to an Iwaki RD 30: mad flow.
I used a few drops of green food coloring to help spot any leaks. The res will run for at least a week nonstop. The pump will introduce a lot of KE into the fluid (heat dump), more pressure than any loop is likely to see and is splashing the fluid onto EVERY surface of the interior of the reservoir. Vid coming.
