This Antec 1200 build called Xpert's Glowfall is for jcichetti and I want to thank him for giving me such a nice piece of work. Over the past week parts have been arriving and I've been busy in the background developing some custom parts for this build. I finally have my bench clear, the shop ready for action and I thought we'd begin by showing you all the lovely gear. The only item not on display is the HDD which is still wrapped up and not terribly photogenic...but I wanted to note that indeed the HDD is present and accounted for

J wanted one of my waterfall reservoirs. I agreed but decided to use polycarbonate this time and to avoid polishing the edges by blasting the interior and exterior with aluminum Oxide. This will make the reservoir glow like crazy from the blue and green CCL kits that will mount above and below. I'll be dealing with the cabling and so on in my usual manner, sheathing leads and keeping everything as neat as possible. The case gets some UV CCL kits and some UV Reactive fans on the rear and side as well as the radiator. I'll be using a piece of powdercoated C channel to direct the light into the fans on the radiator...so all you'll see is the glow..not the blinding light tube.

My apologies to J for the tease. I have been quite busy developing parts in the background. I'd say I threw away about half the pump mounts I made last night...just could not get the bends consistent...or ended up with work marks that I could not polish out.
Ever since the last A1200 LC conversion I have been getting requests for that pump mount. However that fun looking bracket is simply too bulky to fit between a large PSU like the HX 1000 and the HDDs (which extend from the caddy a good inch). So after wasting a few sticks of aluminum I managed to come up with a "hi-rise" pump bracket that maximizes the space in that area. I'll be showing that later today. Right now I am on my way to the powdercoaters to drop off parts. This A1200 LC conversion does follow in the footprints of the last one but only superficially. Stay tuned for more details
