maybe you suggested this in the video (no sound) what if you use RIT dye or something along the edges to penetrate the cracks? clear acrylic with black cracks through it would look cool.

It would still be a piece of ruined acrylic though.

The acrylic loses all strength and dimensional uniformity. The surface actually flakes and lifts up...short of using it for a decorative purpose it would be too brittle and fragile to make into an object.
I can see using this effect on a window...or on an overlay. But the effect is progressive and tends to creep inward more over time...something to consider.

Don't have it up and running yet, ran into some technical mis-communication with my case.
__________________Waiting on some last minutes parts to have her up and running, then I will post vid of running waterfall res. Some pics to share on the tolerances which CD worked under and met. We are talking clearances in mm's ![]() ![]() This is the link between the rad and the res. ![]() ![]() ![]() The middle is the inlet tube with QDC end, and the black leads in the back are for 2 LED's in each side inlet plug. The right is the fitting from res to rad, and to the right is the feed from rad to CPU block, but I ran out of 90 degree fittings. So once more fitting arrive I will let it run and post a vid. ![]() CD it all fits, it fits fits fits
