Custom Reservoir for Daveleaf
Daveleaf contacted me a week ago about getting a waterfall reservoir and put down a deposit. Then we started discussing some modifications to the reservoir to accomodate some space conflicts in his case/LC arrangement. Wait till you see his case: it's jammed with gear...
 Anyhoo after a few designs and some back and forth on the details we arrived at what I think will be a kick ass reservoir: 5 bays tall, 3-1/2" deep, Pump housing( Primochill Typhoon III designed by Geno of BoxGods  ) fused to the back, long drop for the first fall with a couple of ponding ledges to break up the flow. That is a simplistic drawing. The ledges will be angled to make little ponds for the fluid to collect before spilling down. The reservoir introduces some challenges, obviously the small space makes it hard to assemble, the one ledge that mounts to the face means a different order of assembly too, with a greater risk of messing up the final product, and fusing the pump housing to the reservoir means modding an expensive pump and then hoping for a perfect leak-free seal to the completed reservoir...good times ahead. Weather here is optimal, it's rare to have a 70F day in August. So I will be attempting to get the entire project done in the next 10-14 hours  Stay tuned.

__________________You guy don't know the amount of hassle I gave CD on the design phase. I must have drowned his PM box. As the angled shelves and ledges, can't say enough about elegance of design. All the crazy angled, bent, triangle pieces, many iterations of pooling design....and he blew me away with "how about a shelf" Great see it begin.

Pump housing is trimmed off and ready to fuse. I am in the glue up phase now.

And for the record, the pump housing is a Primochill Typhoon3, designed by BoxGods.
__________________It will house a Swifty655, with parallel inlet and outlet ports.
