For some reason TAT reads my processor as a Pentium M...

It says that for everyone.

I highly recommend you switching over to CoreTemp.

TAT is way too old for the newer processors.

But I don't wanna... CT reads my temps at 45C and TAT reads em at 37C

If one program is reading a lower temperature than the other program, it doesn't mean it is accurate.

Your E6850 is a G0 stepping. G0 stepping have a T-Junction of 100C, and also endures up to 72C max load.

The latest version of CoreTemp (0.96) should 99% of the time detect the right T-Junction for your CPU. If it is saying 100C, then your Core0 and Core1 temperatures on CoreTemp are accurate.

TAT in the other hand, you cannot check what T-Junction it is detecting for you to add an offset to your temperature.

For TAT, I don't think so. I have never seen a new update for TAT. @_@

Ya at one time i searched for a new tat never found one tho coretemp works just as good as tat tho.
