That's average. I get around 14s at 3.6ghz. Try to either up your ram speed more or keep them at that speed and get the timings as tight as you can to reduce the calculation time.

yea, best i did on my 4300 was 15.5 @3.6ghz.
its a single thread app so will only load 50% of all dual cores. you validate it @ http://www.xtremesystems.com/pi/

once again... based off ONE core so quad single or dual makes no diff and clock speed makes a huge difference

Just made 1m 24s 438ms on my 4 year old IBM T43 Laptop, 1.86GHz, fairly happy with the results lol..
__________________And another thing, some here are getting 14-15sek with Quad, clocked to 3.6GHz, I remember the first time I did the Super Pi test with me E6420 all stock, twenty something seconds it took, I clocked it to 3.6GHz, along tuned the memory up a little bit, had 8GB memory at the time and I got 14 seconds.. I had old Super Pi program and it didn't show more specific time, but how could that be? Now its clocked to 3.2GHz, only got 4GB memory, memory using factory settings and I'm getting 16.*** seconds.
