This is a very handy tool for managing your ATI GPU OC. It also unlocks GPU core temp monitoring on some cards that cannot otherwise be monitored.

Supported Operating Systems:
  • Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista

Current Version: 1.3.6.1067 Beta

It has some different features than ATITool. Personally, I install both on my ATI systems. I usually OC through ATITool, though.

I concur.

I usually install the ATi Drivers without CCC, and just use ATT instead.

ATITool is a great program but ATITrayTools is like a mini version of it. ATT can do pretty much anything ATITool can but ATT is a program that always runs in the background and does everything the Catalyst Control Center normally would, but better. It can also automatically overclock when you're in a game and underclock when you're not and manage fan speeds and you can set all sorts of image quality settings beyond anything ATI would let you do.

Also, ATT has great game profiling. It's mostly handy with older games, like for example, when ATT detects ut2004.exe running it automatically applies 6XAA and 16XAF, and removes it after the game is closed automatically.

The in-game overlay is great too, it shows me my FPS, GPU speeds, fan speeds, and the temps for both my CPU and GPU.

Awesome little program

Arrow ATI Tray Tools 1.3.6.1064 (10-16-2007)

ATI Tray Tools 1.3.6.1064 (10-16-2007, 01:29) is available for those interested!

+ Added test support for save and restore desktop icon positions under Vista64
+ Added support for Adaptive antialiasing modes Super-Sampling and Multi-Sampling

I believe there is still no HD2xxx series overclocking support with the latest beta release but I could be wrong.
