Sorry for bringing back this thread, but thought i would post my feedback here instead of making a new thread. I am using this tool with 177.92 drivers and it works great. The best thing about Nvida tray tool is how it shows your GPU temp when playing games, and core and memory clock stats. I was playing Jericho for about 40mins, and my temps jump from 49c to 66 and went back down to 52 after going into a new level.
