I know that in v2.00 they added support for Intel Q35/P35/G33/Q33 w/ timings detection. I am not sure what your pervious version of Memtest86+ was but they had a lot of bugs in v2.00 which was only released (08/02/2008) and now they have released v2.01 (21/02/2008).

In v2.01 they mention that they fixed a bug: Corrected Intel 3-Series (P35/X38) chipset init

From windows you can insert floppy, go to my computer, right click floppy drive, and tick off boot disk, then format. That will make it load up at boot up. As for getting memtest86++ to run, thats the second part i dont' know about.

ACUTALLY Just go to http://www.memtest.org/#downiso theres a pre-built floppy

With the floppy in the drive, Memtest is set up to automatically run as you boot (or reboot).... it starts up after the POST and before the OS loads.
