I have got my pll no for HP a6530in computer.The pll no. is RTM870T-691.I want to know till what frequency do i overclock.MY computer configuration is:Intel e2180 @2.0GHZ, 2gb hyundia ram@400mhz,MS MSI 7525 motherboad.My computer's idle temperature is 35-40c and load temperature 53-58c(running on 2ghz i.e factory settings.And which cpu cooler to buy in case of heatng problems and what will be the price(approx.)[currently i have an cooler master 80mm fan)

what do the choices do or what are they?

A clock generator is a little chip in your computer that sends a signal and sets what your hardware clocks are (FSB, pci, etc). You need to know which clock generator your mobo has or you could crash the system. The long list is just different chips.

*I am currently creating a tray icon that can set your fsb automatically for you with stock,low,medium,high settings. I have a version working 100% on my asus n10, but I need to expand it to the other clock generators. I'll let you know. If you have an n10 then check it out.

hey so many members n no replies for me!!!
anyways i am just worried as my computer is just 6 months old(or less)n plus its an hp, so i think i can/have void/voided my warranty.Now after i overclocked my vista just crashes(an installing bios settings or something message comes as soon as i start vista home basic)on the other hand works well with xp!
I am really confused, and in need of a solution.
Pls help me as i dont know how much to overclock(my temperature went upto 62c when running orthos)...but my pc was already on for 36hrs(without orthos).
