by removing redundant information in the registry it can improve system performance, very helpful if you add and remove software on a regular basis.

Bumping this,
I got there whole package of AusLogic Boostspeed. Thing is very fast, does a good job, and even says how much it has improved your speed...If that can be trusted then this is a very nice program! Highly suggest kicking out the bit of cash for the other features, it allowed you to change the overall look of windows to kick out that last bit of speed.
